Get in the festive spirit this 23 & 24 November with a visit to ‘Advent’ our Christmas event. See the Museum prepare for Christmas across the ages and visit 100 stallholders representing the best in arts, crafts and foods from the weald region. There’ll be music, hands-on demonstrations, meet the donkeys and also say hello to Green Father Christmas in Court Barn! With various make & take activities for children and families, which include: Make your own Victorian Peg Doll, Angle or Elf; or make a Festive Thaumatrope and pop-up 3D Christmas card. You can also follow the Knucker the Dragon Christmas trail, where Seven little Knucker Dragons have made themselves at home in some of our historic houses. They are getting in the festive spirit and busying themselves with Christmas preparations for the big day, can you help us find all 7 dragons? And … before you leave, don’t forget to write a postcard to Father Christmas!
